TOMAC & TOMAC PATH PROGRAM
Estate Planning clients are invited to join our Path Program!

WHAT IS PATH?
When you leave our office, your Trust Car (your carefully crafted Estate Plan) is in perfect working order, ready to carry your legacy to its destination. But life is a winding road, with unexpected bumps, detours, and road construction that can throw your Trust Car off course. Those unexpected bumps can include a move, a beneficiary passing away, divorce, or a change in how you want your assets divided after your death, all of which can prevent your Trust Car from reaching your intended destination.

Tomac & Tomac’s Path Program is your Trust Car’s regular tune-up, ensuring it stays on the right path, no matter what speedbumps you encounter. The plan includes personalized, hands-on assistance with asset alignment, regular phone calls & emails between you and our office, amendments to your documents, DocuBank Membership, advanced workshops for you and your family, and much more.
Included in the Path Program is a DocuBank membership. We’re proud to partner with DocuBank to provide an emergency wallet card. This card links directly to your essential estate planning documents, giving emergency medical personnel immediate access in the event of an emergency. It also includes your emergency contact information, known allergies, and the option to upload additional medical details through the DocuBank portal.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

Our Maintenance Program Fee is $75/month, plus tax*.
We also offer a discounted rate of $800, plus tax, with annual payment.
*Monthly payment option requires a monthly auto charge to a debit or credit card.

ENROLL TODAY

Don’t let speed bumps, detours, or flat tires wreck your Estate Plan! With the Path Program, your Trust Car stays tuned up and road-ready—cruising down the right lane toward your final destination with your goals related to loved ones, charities, or your community, safely intact.

WHAT DOES PATH INCLUDE?
-
Annual Trust “Tune-up” - This is your annual review of your Estate Plan, where we take the time to ensure your goals haven’t changed, and that your Trust Car is still on your chosen path. This includes an Asset Alignment, where we verify that assets are properly titled in your Trust, a Life-Event Check-in, where we discuss any life changes that may necessitate a change in your Trust, and Re-execution of your Powers of Attorney. (Some financial institutions have not honored powers of attorney that are more than a few years old. Updated powers of attorney, even if the information has not changed, will help avoid that.)
-
Advanced educational workshops for you and your family.
-
Continual, personalized, hands-on assistance funding your trust(s)
-
Reasonable phone calls by you, your representatives, or your professional advisors to anyone in our office
-
“Word processing” amendments to your Estate Planning documents
-
DocuBank Membership
-
Meeting with your family or helpers upon your disability or death to explain the Estate Plan you created and outline the assistance available in maintaining or settling your plan (any new services, if required, will be identified and billed separately)
-
Special pricing for family members to do their own planning.

As part of our Path Plan services, we may from time to time recommend legal changes in your documents, to take advantage of “general” changes (changes that affect all clients the same) in Trust, Medicaid, Asset Protection, or tax law, regulations, or judicial decisions. These general changes are made at no charge and are initiated by us rather than you.
As part of Path program, you will be automatically billed the annual Path fee, or you may choose to pay monthly.
You, or us, may terminate Path services at any time by notifying the other in writing within 30 days of the end of your Path Plan. Non-payment of the fee within 30 days of your receipt of the annual fee invoice will terminate all services and obligations provided hereunder. Since this service has many benefits far in excess of its costs (for example, one hour of attorney time is $350-$400), there are no refunds for cancellations during the year.

As part of your participation in the program, you agree that we may assume that no significant changes in your health, family, or finances have occurred unless you notify us. If changes occur, please notify us immediately and we will be happy to take the necessary steps to address your concerns.
